Why verifying a Turkish company is harder than it looks

Two identifiers
Companies carry a 10-digit tax number (VKN) and a 16-digit MERSIS number. Customers know the first; the registry speaks the second. Atlas accepts the tax number. VergiNo → MersisNo
Sole traders are people
One person can run several businesses under the same number, so a query can return more than one record. Atlas returns them all — Merkez[ ] is an array.
Branches are separate records
Each branch has its own MERSIS number. Verifying the head office says nothing about the branch that signed the order. Use the Branch Card.
The Gazette is the legal truth
Changes become binding when announced in the Trade Registry Gazette. Card 04 returns the latest announcement as the original PDF (SonGazete).

Data comes from MERSIS, the Central Registry Recording System of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, accessed through TOBB. Each result shows its source and retrieval time.
As registered, at query time
Results reflect the registry at the moment of the query. Apivom does not create or correct the data; its accuracy is the responsibility of the source institutions.
Not a certificate
Results are not official certificates, registry extracts or credit ratings. They support your own assessment and do not replace it.
Know the gaps
Share transfers in joint-stock companies (A.Ş.) are not registered (TTK art. 499), so shareholder data may be empty or out of date. The full list of limitations is in the documentation.
