Apivom Staff — automation that survives failure
Long-running business processes — data syncs, browser automation, approval flows — executed durably: every step tracked, every failure retried, nothing lost on restart.
Workflow OrchestrationReliability by default.
Cron jobs and scripts break silently.
When automation fails at 3 a.m., you find out from an angry customer. Staff makes every process observable and self-healing.
Durable execution
Workflows checkpoint their progress — crashes and deploys resume exactly where they left off.
Automatic retries
Transient failures — network blips, vendor rate limits — retry with backoff until they succeed.
Full run history
Every step, input and outcome of every run is inspectable — debugging becomes reading, not guessing.
Schedules & triggers
Run on a calendar, on demand or in response to events — with overlap policies that prevent double runs.
Human-in-the-loop
Pause for approvals or manual input mid-process and continue automatically once received.
Browser automation
Portals without APIs are automated with resilient browser workers — sessions, logins and retries managed.
The engine behind Apivom automations.
Staff runs the automation fleets that keep Apivom products current: vendor data syncs for Atlas, portal automation for channel operations and AI pipelines for Pivot — the same engine now orchestrates your processes.
- Vendor data syncs. Nightly and on-demand synchronization of subscriptions, orders and accounts at scale.
- Live progress. Running workflows report step-level progress you can surface directly in your apps.
- Safe cancellation. Cancel long-running work cleanly — compensation steps run so nothing is left half-done.
Frequently asked questions.
What is Apivom Staff?
Staff is a workflow orchestration platform for long-running, failure-prone business processes: data synchronization, browser automation, scheduled jobs and approval flows — executed durably with full visibility.
How is this different from cron jobs?
Cron starts a script and hopes. Staff tracks every step, retries transient failures automatically, resumes after crashes and keeps a complete run history — reliability is the default, not an afterthought.
Can workflows wait for human approval?
Yes. Workflows can pause indefinitely for approvals or manual data entry and resume automatically the moment the input arrives — even weeks later.
What happens when a vendor API is down?
The affected step retries with exponential backoff while the rest of the workflow state is preserved. Once the vendor recovers, the process continues from that exact step.
Can Staff automate portals that have no API?
Yes. Dedicated browser-automation workers handle logins, sessions and multi-step portal interactions with the same durability guarantees as API-based workflows.
